I just glanced at this thing again, and realized.... this would be great for 4th edition. There aren't that many books for people to gather, and the whole system is designed around party combat. So each player submits a 5-character party, and the parties battle it out. All we need is someone dedicated enough to arbitrate.

Aye, it seems that's always half the rub in the Sword Gulch. Back when I convinced Grays to add this, I fully intended to arbitrate it myself. Ah, how things change...
